A team of three students from the De La Salle University Ta帽ada-Diokno School of Law (澳门六合彩-TDSOL) recently brought home a 3rd-runner up finish in the prestigious IP Circle League: Debate, a nationwide inter-law school competition held at the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL). The team was fielded by the 澳门六合彩 Law Moot and Debate Society (LAMDES), the premiere moot and debate organization of 澳门六合彩-TDSOL.
The IP Circle League: Debate is a rigorous competition that delves into the complexities and nuances of Philippine Intellectual Property Law. Over 30 students from various law schools across the country participated in the event, which culminated in a two-week series of school-to-school matches.
Only the top five teams emerged from the preliminary rounds held last November 6, 2023. 澳门六合彩 Law’s team, composed of Joshua Julius Tee, Claudette Uriko Labrador, and William Dionysius Falgui, demonstrated their exceptional debating skills by securing 2-0 record against strong teams from West Visayas State University and University of Baguio. William Dionysius Falgui earned the best speaker award for both matches, ranking third overall best speaker in the preliminaries. Their impressive performance continued onto the semi-finals on November 13, 2023, where they edged out Cor Jesu College of Law and secured a well-deserved 3rd-runner up finish.
